Last fall I decided to replace my WRX. I wanted something bigger but still fun. And, because my wife tends to hit non-moving objects in cars and seems to get "keyed" once or twice a year, I decided to get a manual transmission in whatever car I ended up with. You see, my wife can't driver a stick, so I figured the car would be safe this way. I decided on a GTL, and finally located a leftover '06 in September. I bought it, took it home and enjoyed it. I caught a lot of grief from my wife for buying a car that she couldn't drive. Last week, the Mrs. backed her '06 Honda Pilot into it. Good news is that her damage seems to be contained in the rear driver side door. Miraculously the front door and rear quarter panel seem OK. Repair cost is $1400.
