diogenesfilter
Hey guys, first post here. Always wanted a sleek Subaru wagon, I think my day is finally here. The motor is a "new" refurbished one, he pulled the old one. It has full maintenance records for the last 6 years. New clutch, new a/c system, new struts, and the mechanic I'm purchasing from has also done a little bit electrical work as well. He purchased it from his pastor at church. The actual car has 103,000. Getting it for $4200. I think its a steal. Looking forward to researching more into and starting to work on it/fix it up a bit. Thanks for looking! diogenesfilter
What are some more questions I need to ask this guy about the car?
alegend90
I'd visit the section of the site specific to this car's model year (generation) and read up about the specific things to look for. every generation of cars has its own quirks.

Fitz
I would ask about Rust repair back wheel wells, I would also check the front sub frame for some rust. Also maybe ask if the timing belt, Timing Techiners, timing pullys, head gaskets and intake gaskets were done when motor was refurbished. I also would ask last time oil was changed and that spark plugs it has. Also u could ask when break pads and rotors were done... just some simple questions Good looking ride!
