Vitality90
Hello all, A while back I had to have some major work done to my 05 LGT. The clutch burned out and apparently there was some kind of brass ring inside the transmission case that was destroyed. As far as my understanding this was factory set and meant that I needed a new transmission case. I had the transmission rebuilt into a new case and the transmission failed less than 100 miles later. I ended up getting a used transmission and was left with a new transmission case with some broken/defective internal parts. It's sitting in the garage now with the tags still on the outside. Is there any resale value in the case itself? I feel it could be useful to someone who had a similar problem.

Canon20D
Hey, just got this PM. Sorry - mines all good. But! I am proof that people need these, and DO NOT want to spend thousands on a new transmission just for a case (weak link much?) Throw it up on the FS: and put it as pickup only. Someones bound to pay $200 for it
Vitality90
Alright, thanks guys! Apparently rebuilding into a new case is not a sure process as it would seem. The <50k used transmission I bought was only a few hundred more than this case from the stealership.
