JLH2012Legacy
Hello, Just wondering what all of you Subie owners are doing for the spark plug interval replacement period? According to what I've found, it looks like we're suppose to change them at 30k. Is this true? That seems really soon to be doing that. Also, I have a 2012 Legacy 2.5i, and I was just wondering what you all recommend? I bought my car used and didn't get an owners manual. Can anyone tell me what the manufacturer recommends? Thanks! Fast Eddie
30-35K is the manufacturer's recommended interval. You're also due for a brake bleed. Go to a Subie dealer and ask the service writer for a printout of service due at 35K. It's quite extensive. A good reason to not leave spark plugs in for long intervals is that removing them now will be much easier than removing them in 8 years and the likelihood of damage is greatly reduced.
