GTPpilot
I believe the walkthru would be about the same as the 4th gen. Is your car an Automatic ? The big Torx plug is the front diff if your car is an Automatic.
AZP Installs
I believe the walkthru would be about the same as the 4th gen. Is your car an Automatic ? The big Torx plug is the front diff if your car is an Automatic. In 2010 the LGT was only available in MT. With that said, we have not seen Mobil 1 gear lubes be all that great. We've had significantly better outcomes with motul gear300, amsoil severe gear, and Subaru extraS pretty much in that order. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. bluesubie
If you want to use Mobil1, try their 0W-40, TDT 5W-40, or any of the High Mileage oils. If you have a manual, do NOT use Mobil1 in the transmission. The best Mobil for the transmission is Mobil Delvac synthetic. The regular Mobil1 has friction modifiers and can be too slippery for the synchro's to engage properly. -Dennis
