BX77
Got my 05 LGT wagon back from the dealer, New Long block, turbo and other stuff, Long story short all replaced under warranty, Checked the ECU it still has the Cobb stage 1 on it, should I leave it as is, or reflash to stock? Haven't had a chance to drive far because the Registration expired. The Mechanic drove it for about 35 miles and said it's good to go! Any advice would be appreciated! car_cursed
Just leave it and follow normal break in. IMO stage 1 is what the car should have come stock. And the Cobb ots maps are very conservative.
ChefRacer
Definitely break it in before you do anything or beat on it. I personally don't have the willpower to stay stock, but thats got to be a very personal decision for you to make yourself.

legacyGT95
I'd reflash stock cause it should be updated from time to time but its a personal decision.

BX77
Now I know the Cobb stage 1 on the car needs to be updated, because when the car was at the dealer I plugged it into my computer and there was a new update,
liljonson
Didnt know cobb updated their flash. I thought they only updated the ap
BX77
Stand corrected, when you plug it onto your computer check for updates, if there is just hit update, then you will have the lastest software for it. Sometime they tweak it to work out some kinks,
liljonson
I learned something new. I only had the cobb flash for a month before i got dyno tuned. Interesting. Good for cobb
