Car when i first bought it

 

It was my first car, i got stuck with cause of no credit 4 years ago an wasnt to happy at first but learned to love it and had no idea what i was getting into. its a 2000 legacy L auto had roughly 145k miles completely stock ran great got me to point A to B.

4 years later its been alot of work and been through alot and still learning alot she has 180k now and i cant tell you how much i love this car

-All 4 doors Dynamatted, trunk lid filled with foam and Dynamatted, from rear quarter window back plus, rear deck Dynamatted(rear deck Plasti dipped black), trunk sidewalls and wheel fenders Dynamatted, spare tire area gutted and Dynamatted, pretty much the whole rear of the car is sealed.

-Rear deck removed and 3rd brake light delete

-Custom wood flooring in trunk

-Pioneer avic-x850bt double din dvd, gps, bluetooth deck

-2 12inch Helix precision P12s 350w each in a ported box

-Alpine 1100watt xpower amp

-Stinger SPV44 battery in the trunk for amp/subs

-Rockford 300w 4chan punch amp hidden in the stock tray under stereo deck

-JB Audio tr650 csi speakers fitted with 3/4 spacers in the front so the window still goes down and replaced stock tweeters with custom JB tweeters

-All wires tucked and hidden an remotes hidden

-Full car dipped matte white

-Windows tinted to 20%

-Trunk debaged

-JDM one piece rain guards

-JDM tinted taillights w/ clear blinkers

-JDM B4 rear bumper w/JDM bumper skirts added

-JDM B4 front bumper with lip

-JDM aluminum hood w/scoop

-JDM L7 grille with B4 emblem

-Retrofitted L headlights moto h1 55w. w/ angel eyes as DRLs + blacked out blinkers as well as JDM front lense swap

-JDM projector fogs tinted yellow w/35w moto h3c

-Metogi Racing MR125 17" rims w/federal 595 tires 225/45/17s (dipped white)

-Hella supertone horns

-Hella 500 lights hidden behind grille

updated some pics and parts for now getting the car ready to dip thats why its missing the grille, scoop, and foglight covers. an getting the gt side skirts prepped i had to contact the subaru place and they said something happened to the order but she was going to reorder the parts and push for overnight delivery

alright the latest things ive done so far since the last update i upgraded my stereo to a pioneer AVIC-X850BT gps navi, dvd, bluetooth

swapped my rear control arms with the 05+ plus spec b alloy arms and lateral links

even upgraded my stock 6k spring rate stance coils springs to some 8k spring rate swift springs

ive swapped out all the exterior lighting to LEDs all blinkers, side markers, and break lights even reverse bulbs

 

and last i swapped to new retrofit headlights these are some L lights with morimoto h1 projectors with a JDM front lens swap and kept my halos as DRL's

i smashed my header on a muffler that fell in the middle of the road so i had to buy a new custom header from a awesome dude in Oregon header and re wrap it

ive went through my engine bay and cut tons of wires off that was extra from all my custom relays and accessories lol

Nice work! The only thing I'm not too sure about is the painted stock calipers. I really like the white rims since you have a white car to match them. Unreleased photos but I might be running a similar look ;) How did you like the Stance' coilovers with the 6k springs? Was the ride nice and smooth for cruising?

thanks man, yeah I'll eventually replace the brake system lol but imma replace the rims and tires when I catch up on bills lol but as for the ride I can't tell much cause I have crap tires and was low on psi so I bounced off them alot but if you want you can have the springs they're just laying in my shed

updated a few things and while ive been waiting almost a month for my JEC reflash so the car has been down the whole time i decided swap out my 04 sti steering rack and whiteline bushings and rip the whole rear end off and redo every single bushing in the rear with whiteline and retro my stance coils top mounts to cusco pillowball mounts, then put on my rear SS lines, swap out the 04 sti brake booster and master cylinder, 06 gt legacy brakes and r1 premius slotted rotors with hawk pads

 

pics is some of the work not everything and not the best methods but for the cost and results was well worth it lol

its holding up pretty good been a year so far almost i need to clean it really badly i havent cleaned it since summer and it really depends on how well you prep and spray on i did a crappy job for my first time i have like 2 bubbles starting to pop up on the trim part cause water was still under it but other then that pretty good just temp till i can get around to a new paint job
