CousinLarry Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 My first Subaru I love it so far. Drove from CT to NH to pick it up. It drives real nice. It's the dark blue, 5sp, with 59k on it. Got a Subaru 2yr/24k warranty with it. I will treat it well! Just wanted to say HI. Will be snapping some pics as soon as I get a sunny day! I have a friend with an 08 stage 2 Spec V who is peer pressuring me to start modding Man, these cars are nothing like the DSM's I'm used to. With those I just chew up a piece of bubblegum, grab some fishing line and a paperclip, and run 12's hahaaa Good stuff. I really want to shorten the shifter a bit. It seems so tall with long throws. I saw a thread about cutting the stocker - I think I might give that a go. Probably best to purchase one to hack up in case I mess up though? Just ordered an uppipe too - de-catted already. Just a little preventive maintenance. I will be 110% sure that all remains of the cat are out before installing. I was thinking do that, and get a hi-flow catted DP, and a tune and see how I like it.
