mk6933
So this is what happened. I parked my car at a parking lot. When I was trying to start my car, it went through all the normal gauge sweep, then my whole car just died. Nothing worked, power locks, keys, etc. I had someone trying to jump start for me, but there was sparks coming from the positive terminal then it starts. I drove back home, turn my car off, then turn it back on. Nothing works! My whole car just died. What should I do? My car is still under warranty. Should I tow it to a nearest dealership? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
alexxdj1
Call the dealer for sure. Personally I have a Platinum level Die Hard from Sears that has a 3 year warranty on it. Are you running a system in your car like I am?
mk6933
I only have Hella Horns connected. I'm in the process of removing all wires.
alexxdj1
Interesting, well you know that dealer parts are always subpar.

alexxdj1
Good deal, that is always the best cure under warranty. HOpe all is well.
ehsnils
If it's still under warranty - let the dealer chew on it. It may be something simple like a burnt fusible link.
Max Capacity
I hope you made sure the battery terminals were clean. Good Luck. Hey if it was a early 09 the battery could be almost 4 y/o so it may be bad. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). mk6933
Thanks all. I just clean my battery terminals last week. You can still see all the baking soda and acids all over the place. Kinda messy
