Im having a custom cat back exhaust made....However the guy making my exhaust cant touch or remove the cat.....so im doing that first, and he will run the new piping up to the first flange right before the stock mid pipe.... My question is, If i have the CNT DP will it bolt up to the exhaust im having made or do i need to buy a catless midpipe as well to replace the stock midpipe? And if i worded it incorrectly....does the cnt DP replace the stock mid pipe? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
angeltalin Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 no the dp does not replace any mid pipe, only a mid pipe can replace a mid pipe. the dp comes off the turbo and mates to the mid pipe, you can have any sort of mid pipe you want catted uncatted resonated or no resonator, all will impact emissions and noise level.
