Subaru Buyer Demographics

Recommended Posts

My friend who recently purchased a 2008 toyota Camry (2 weeks after I bought my 08' Legacy) Has been ragging on me that I drive a grandma car etc. Iv been looking around the net with no real news on New Car buyer Demographics. I found some forum talking about JD Power but I searched the site with nothing to show of it. Any help for this Legacy drive?

A Camry driver ragging on anyone? That's quite rich. His car might be more reliable, but "cooler"?

Buy the boy some Depends undergarments for his new ride.

Whatt?!?!?

Throw some D's on a Camry, then its cool.

When I tell people I drive a Legacy, they usually have a mental image of this:

Seriously though. There's no point worrying about what other people think of things you own. There's even less point worrying about what other people think about what other people think about the things you own. That's just second-degree worthlessness.

But if it makes you feel any better, I'm very young and cool and hip, and I'm world-famous in Brazil. And, of course, I drive a Legacy.

a poll on here around the time I bought my car concluded that most of the forum goers were male between 25-40 (mostly in the 25-30 range) I dont know where the thread is but its probably buried and I'm too lazy to search so you'll just have to believe the all knowing darkfox1 on this one ;)

srlsy tho.. a camry owner can say NOTHING AT ALL about a grandma car. Put him in the passenger seat and when hes screaming "HOLY SH!T!!!!" when you rip around a turn.. remind him.. you drive a grandma car.

srsly my parents are in their 50s and they cant stand my car, they say its too fast and too low to the ground.

oh yea, btw, neither I nor the legacygt.com forums are held responsible in any way if you actually rip around a corner or any accidents or legal implications this behavior may have. We are never responsible for anything.. ever..

Yes, the current generation is a good looking car, but the popular image is what the OP is talking about. Subies aren't superhip, but Camry?

What demographic would you fall under? Ghey, 20 something beach cowboy from NE that drives a 2.5i? JK - sorry, couldn't help it....what's the deal with your avatar? You should get together w/SubieCity .

Seriously though, why would you give care what anyone thinks of your car? More importantly, why would you give anyone the satisfaction - they are probably just busting your b*lls since they know it bothers you.
