Exactly how accurate are the Cobb AP v3 numbers?

Recommended Posts

I wondered that too. I think the 1/4 mile and stuff is pretty dead on. It knows your speed and can time when you went so it can calculate how far you have traveled based off speed and time. What I really question is the dyno numbers and stuff. It says I have 293hp and I'm only stage 1 haha.

Comparing mine with time slips from the track, mine seems pretty accurate.

Horsepower readings appear to be crank HP (when compared to my DynoJet graphs and adding 22% from drivetrain loss).

I just compared my numbers before and after an e-tune from BrenTuning, and The V3 Accessport says I gained 50 Horsepower and the car feels much faster... Ill Take It!!! even if the numbers are off I can feel the difference and it runs much smoother than the cobb OTS Map :)
