str8dwn
I ordered the last set of silver SSR Comp H 19x8 +50 wheels from Tire Rack and they shipped today!! 'Chop below. For tires, I'll be running the Yoko S.Drive 225/35-19ZR. Seems to be some good reviews out there and the price is right. Just wanted to thank Keefe for his work on the fitment FAQs that led me away from the 18x8.5 G-Games on DTD. Though I also like those, the odd/rare tire size required for our cars just didn't make sense for me. EDIT: Full pics on page

dark_templer_102
Nice choice! If you don't mind, how much did they cost?
str8dwn
They've been on closeout for $299 for a while. Tires are $180. The weight is what sold me. 19lbs for a 19" wheel is amazing for that price. Luke at Tire Rack (x362) was really helpful. He was upfront and knowledgeable on fitment, ride, and other issues. He supports the Subaru community, which is great for us. --Also, is on-car balancing not possible with the Subarus? I really want to make sure these are perfectly balanced, and a local shop offers the Hoffmann finish balancing machine. Not sure it's possible with the AWD though. str8dwn
All I can say is WOW! These SSRs are beyond my expectations. Beautiful silver lip, big openings between spokes, engraved center cap, and matching silver paint. Once I figure out what tires to wrap around them, I'll put them on the car and snap more pics. For now, here they are in the boxes via cheesy BBerry pics.

str8dwn
Sorry for the long delay. The test tire I ordered arrives Monday. I want to make sure the size is right (no inner rubbing) before shelling out for all four. I'm test fitting the Bridgestone 235/35-19 RE960AS. Otherwise, I'll downsize to the Yoko S.Drive 225/35-19. str8dwn
VTGT Nice. That's sweet choice. The black looks pretty mean the way the spokes curve deep into the hub.

str8dwn
S.Drives get good reviews? Horrible from what I've read. They certainly aren't my first choice, but the limited availability in 225/35 of high wear rating tires leads me in that direction. TR reviews seem pretty positive. Haven't come across really bad reviews. The F1 GS-D3 is another decent option at that size. I'm really hoping the 235 works out.

str8dwn
This morning we test fitted one wheel and tire (235) combo on the front and then the back. No clearance issues - yippee. Of course forgot to snap a few cell phone pics. So I ordered the other (3) 235/35-19 960s and they arrive Friday. I'll post final pics then. However...putting these side by side the OEM makes them look HUGE like 24s or something. Both the specs and my measurements say that they are less than 1" in dia different. And I know that difference gets split in two, but this pic shows it all. OEM wheel/tire: 24.6" dia 19x8 w/ RE960 235/35: 25.5" 19x8 w/ Yoko 225/35: 25.2" The 225/35-19 would have been roughly 1/4" in diam smaller, so not a significant change.
