Double
I've got a line on a beautiful set of Racing Hart wheels that are 18x8.5 with +40mm offset with 235/40/18's, does anyone know if they'll fit?? Please help!! Thanks in advance. Alex Also, I will be running a set of Cusco coilovers to take the gap out of the wheelwells.

Double
I did check it out, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried them or know for sure how far they will stick out from stock and if they will work or not. I realize +5 doesn't seem like much, but would appreciate the forums help. -Thanks-
Xenonk
you'll be sticking out by 5mm. 5mm is 1/5" of an inch.. and yes, your coilovers won't be short-traveling enough to prevent the tire from rubbing your fenders.. you would have to raise the car and tuck the suspension in by running aggressive negative camber and run a set of 225/40/18 tires instead to taper the shoulders in to clear a 18"x8.5" +40mm offset. Double
Thanks Xenonk for your help. It's one of those deals you just wish you could make them fit, they're CP-035R's
Xenonk
like I said, it can work if you fender roll, run 225/40/18s tires and run some really hard core camber.. but again, it's going to stick out 5mm as the way you have it now. Keefe
CreoSTi
Here's my 18x8.5" setup with 235/40/18. This is with a +48mm offset, though. http://www.mcnproductions.com/lgt/suspension/advan7.jpg http://www.mcnproductions.com/lgt/suspension/advan8.jpg Front camber is around -1.8, rear is around -1.1 (Cusco c/o's). I'm pretty sure that you'd have to roll the rear fenders. -Mike-
Xenonk
He'll have to roll the fenders AND knock the camber down into something like -3.5* to -4.0 degrees up front and around -1.75* to -2.0*. He'll have to stretch a 225/40/18 or 215/40/18 tire on the 8.5" rim with that kind of offset. Keefe

Double
Thanks for the pics Mike, that really does help!! It'll look ghetto if I try to put those on with a +40 and it doens't matter how good of deal they are, I wouldn't want that look. I still think you should just sell me your Advans;) lol Where did you get yours from?

Double
Thanks Mike! I installed my Cusco coilovers and front and rear sway bars last night and after I got everthing done I bolted up the front CP-035R wheel, it wasn't even close. It stuck out past the wheelwell a good 1/2 inch, looked stu-pid! Glad it was a buddy of mine that had the wheels and told me to take one to see if it would fit or not without having to pay for them first.
