mmmmspecb
Did anybody else notice the dramatic difference between Cobb's quoted HP gains on the 05-06 legacys vs. the 2007 legacys? 2005-2006 Stg 1 16% HP increase 22%TQ increase Stg 2 22%HP 38% TQ 2007-2009 Stg 1 4%HP 9%TQ Stg 2 6%HP 22%TQ Is this true? I'm going to be buying an 07' soon, so it's kind of strange to me that these numbers are so different. From what I know, the only difference between the 2006 and 2007 motor wise, is that the 2007 doesn't have a cat in the up-pipe, and it uses the vf-46 turbo which is supposed to be slightly better... MadMontie1
The simple answer is yes, the longer answer is a more detailed yes with Cobb's numbers correct
HansGT
05-06 have a cat in the up...07+ have a catless up and air pump. Also, oem base maps can vary by model year. 05-06 see higher % gains...'07+ are just better out of the box. In the end both peak numbers are nearly identical.
