naaz90
I have a 05 LGT which had the fan relay and ECU replaced in 07. The fans seem to be acting up once again. They seem to be coming on way too much. Its hard to tell on the highway but they cycle on and off every few seconds in traffic or at idle. The temp gauge never seems to move. I understand the fans purpose is turn on to cool the radiator but it seems they turn on too much. The fans immediatly turn on when I start the car. I also hear them when I get come to a stop after getting of an exit ramp. Does this sound like normal fan function? Does anyone know the the temp when the fans are supposed to turn on and off? Are the fans dual stage?
Th3Franz
They should only be turning on when the car is stopped or moving very slowly, assuming everything else is in order. Where are you located? Do you have a FMIC or is the car stock? -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
naaz90
Car is stock, except for an airfilter and tune. Fans turn on whether the AC is on or off. Shouldnt the fans respond to engine temp not just vehicle speed?
