youngie
ok, I have a 05 LGT 5EAT. when i bought the car, it was dead silent without any hint of vibration when the car was in idling with transmission in Drive( ex. when stopped in front of the traffic light). now with the car with over 1k miles, there's some vibration i can feel that was not there in the beginning, half of the times. also when i was test driving several LGT before the purchase(3 tobe exact) all of them had varying degree of vibrations. so my question is how much does your LGT 5EAT vibrate when it's idling with transmission in Drive( 2005 or 2006)
Th3Franz
Boxer engines transmit a little bit more vibration than standard engines. It's not that bad.. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

Nonvteclegacy
Boxer engines transmit a little bit more vibration than standard engines. It's not that bad.. I hate the vibration when in drive at a red light too. I notice when I put the car in neutral at a red light it vibrates a little less.
Th3Franz
Why? You have two pairs of pistons moving back and forth at completely opposite directions. There's only one force vector in the X direction. With V or I engines, it's different, and the force vector is split among multiple directions. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
