pedpro
Recently I picked up some dirt cheap 17" wheels from 05 Scion tC. Since owners always swap them out, these wheels can be picked up pretty cheap. Got mine for $200 picked up for 4 of them with decent tires. http://pitcrewmotors.com/ebay/sciontcwheels.jpg The thing that bothered me the most was of course the embosed Scion logo on the center caps. Since I don't drive a Scion, I did some a little DIY project... http://thewheelwarehouse.com/ebay/centercaps/Scion%2069471%20Buton/Center%20Caps%20345.jpg Started with sanding down the caps with some nice 100 grit sand papers then gradually up to 800 for that nice smooth finish. I still had some scratches so I puttied it and finally primered it nice and clean. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/socalf4/IMG_20101004_220022.jpg Then finally I sprayed it with gloss black rattle can then top it off with a STi decal I got it plotted from local decal shop. http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/socalf4/IMG_20101005_215555.jpg Now they're ready to be wrapped with some nice race tires or snow! http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/socalf4/IMG_20101011_145218.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l256/socalf4/IMG_20101011_145200.jpg

Shello007
Hey, I was thinking about getting these. Is it a straight mount? No hub problems right?
cabin
The Scion has a smaller hub than the Subaru, so no, it's not a direct fit. You would have to bore the center of the wheel to allow it to fit on the Subaru. Post #4 above yours confirms this, as does the link provided in post #5... alegend90
maybe the partnership between subaru and toyota will get us some more inexpensive rim options!
Dubrxsti
How much did it cost to have a shop bore out the hub?
pedpro
It was about $120 ish i think... its been awhile and i know it didnt go over 150. Some machine shop in ontario did it.

LosAngelesLGT
So these are $350 dollar wheels? No thanks. For $100 more get some 17" drags.
Dubrxsti
I think they look good and 350 with tires is a good deal. I'm thinking about plasti dipping them for winter wheels.
SCASEYS
I have a set of 4 sitting in my garage (rims only) $100 each shipped? I will start a new thread I donated to LegacyGT.com which allows me to have this nifty signature. If anything SCASEYS posts ever becomes a sticky i'm gonna light this whole place on fire
stanjk3
I like 'em. Those look a lot like '04-06 Forester XT wheels. Too bad they only come in 16". Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer.
scoobydoobie
^ Those are 17s in the OP. 16s wouldn't clear LGT brakes.

jb2311
What type of lug nuts did you use to mount the scion wheels to your legacy?
Drift Motion
That's a interesting question, as I know most Toyota uses the flat bottom with a washer type of lug nuts for their OEM wheels... Toyota uses 12x1.5, where we use the 12x1.
famaya26
Also interested on which Lugs were used to mount these. There's a guy locally selling his Scion Rims for $200.
