Chorizo
I have the JDM bilsteins w/ pinks on my 05 GT and the passenger front seemed to be bottoming out when i go over bumps, potholes, dips. It doesnt feel like its bottoming out but its just not smooth like the rest of the 3 wheels. It mainly makes a loud thump like if it that was hitting. I went over a big pot hole shortly before noticing it but im not sure if that was the cause of it. I dont know how many miles these have since im not the original owner who put them on but im thinking they have around 10k-20k miles on them. Any ideas on what it could be thats happening and how i can fix it?
MilesA
Suggest checking your front lower control arm bushings first. The bushing at the rear can get torn up, which will allow your control arm to move around giving you a metal-to-metal knocking sound. Other than that, you just have to inspect to find the cause. xero287
I don't think you mean bottoming out. Check your struts and the controls arms as said previously.
