Mr. Sinister
Search the intake and exhaust section and have a mod move this thread over there.
mikeislord
Depends on what you're looking for. I'm told that Borla CBE is a bit more throaty than Perrin. Quality wise, you can't go wrong with either. You can search up sound clips to hear the difference.
captainhook
Not exactly what you were asking about, but I'm a fan of the SPT. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_bRkas1xSU]YouTube - LegacyGT w/ SPT cat-back[/ame]
noswad
I have a Borla CBE on my wagon. I like it, not too loud, eccentuates tha boxer rumble and looks stock for sleeper look. Borla also has 1000000 mile warranty if you care about that.. Im thinking they were designed for use on the sedan cause the tips could be longer IMO, but there is only one part number.. Perrins are nice too.. scoobydoobie
FWIW, Borla is quieter and has 2.5" piping and uses the donut gasket to mate to a Cobb or stock DP. Perrin is 3" with flat flange and mates better with Invidia, perrin, etc. DP's

seanlsb
I have a borla and I think one of the best things about it is that it appears pretty stock - so if you are into that whole sleeper thing, it's great. +1 on the donut gasket thing, though. TruAlk
FWIW I have a perrin turbo back and it is fairly loud and does not look stock at all. I like it but the wife thinks it is kinda loud. Sounds good though.

Coyote_Lips
Just put on my Borla CBE on sunday. Mated to the flat flange on my Invidia catted DP with no leaks, much to my surprise. I'm using an eBay EL header right now, until I get my stockers P&P'd... With the equal length and the Borla my car is barely any louder than stock. I miss the boxer growl If you are looking for super stealth, this is a viable setup. Yup...
