K2Boarder161
I'm searching for a set of winter tires/wheels for my 04 LGT and came across a local guy with some firestone winterforce snow tires mounted on a set of 16" forester steel wheels. I know the legacy has a 55mm offset while foresters have a 48mm offset but whst kind of problems could I run into (if any) running a +7mm offset, is it even safe? The guy said he will take $80 which is a STEAL as long as they check out. Only other 'con' two tires started to scallop on the putter lugs. But for $80, I would make due. Input? SBT
what size are the tires? The +7mm ET towards the fender isn't that big a deal if the tire size isn't crazy. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

SBT
You should be fine. Stock size is 205/55 correct? - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

SBT
Depending on what tire manufacturer you go with, the tire width may be slightly more or less than a simple "plus one". That said, 12 mm (~ 1/2") of movement (+7mm ET and +5mm increase in tire width (215-205/2 = 5mm) toward the fender should fit without issue. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
SBT
You do realize that your speedo is going to be off going with a larger tire correct? It'll under-report how fast you're actually going, and your ODO will register less miles. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
