timmie415 Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Drat! Someone posted a craigslist ad today listed in San Bruno of a wrecked 2005 Legacy GT for $1500. I dropped him(her) an email quickish when I saw it, no response, and he has since deleted the ad. I forget his exact words but it sounded like he rear ended a car and the front of the Legacy was mangled. He was unsure if the engine was ruined in the accident or not. Reported the fenders as fine. It was a 5 speed also. UGH! I bet the car will be relisted tomorrow a couple of grand higher. Would have been either a great parts car or a fun rebuild project. Merde! I am so bummed now. I wonder if the craigslist email still works? I have it in my sent folder. Just keep writing and harassing until I get the car. Muhahaha.
