4REEL Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Went to a local Subaru swap meet hosted by awdgarage.com, it was a great time, sold some old parts and picked up a solid pitch stop, solid rear end links and a Agency Power light weight crank pulley, and what a difference they made. Ive heard the solid metal ones make it sound like the starter is in the cabin It's solid metal with rubber bushings, significantly smaller and stiffer bushings than stock. I can take photos later. Yes it sounds like the starter is in the cabin, I can hear and feel the whole motor work, its awesome. Install for all the parts couldn't have been easier, it was as simple as taking off the old parts and re-installing the new ones, took me maybe an hour and most of the time was on the end-links because I had to take the rear wheels off and jack up the car, other than that it was a breeze. Just ordered brakes, next thing is 20mm hubcentric spacers, new seats and a deep dish steering wheel........ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or possibly measure how far below your STi TMIC sits below the hood line? I feel like my TMIC sits higher when looking at some photos of your engine bay and I want to figure out what the difference is to create the space.
