PhilT
I'm hoping that's just a reflection of a tree, otherwise someone's dog needs obedience lessons ! Can you give us more details ? Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
BillAce
It's just a reflection in the pic. It's a portable touch screen Navigation system. It has all of North America on the internal HD. There extra HD drive space can store music or pic files. It controls an outboard Sirius tuner box. The last pic is the Mini Sirius" mode you can use while navigating. There is a "Mini Music mode as well. The GPS antenna is internal and the Sirius antenna is under the dash at the base of the windshield as well. Both seem to be working pretty well. andrew.anderson
Good location for it. What happened to the cuppy though? I cannot tell from the pictures.
BillAce
I removed the cubby and built a quick housing around it to mount the NAVi. It is the XACT NAVi, I am developing the product and this is one of the test units we have to validate the software and lock down the features. laz
Nice! I might be looiking at the clarion NICE P200 unit: http://clarion.com/us/en/MungoBlobs/142/981/N.I.C.E.P200.jpg http://clarion.com/us/en/products/2006/navigation/navigation/NICE_P200/us-en-product-pf_1134643389398.html I still like to see it in real life, but it was just introduced this year. BillAce
The new Clarion P200 NICE won't do Satellite radio like the 7" does. The bezel was sprayed with SEM Landau black. I sent a piece of the cubby to get the exact OEM color matched for final finishing. I put this together quickly in my living room on monday while watching 24. I couldn't leave my wife with a piece of her interior missing. It's a promise I made her after she drove around without door panels for a month before IASCA finals. Once we have production units I'll take it apart and make it perfect. I'll put the audio input in the center console then as well.
laz
A I see, so that is the one function that is missing then (clarion). I like where all these gadgets are heading to. Pretty soon there will be a lot of afordable small pieces for sale. X ---
