micmicmotorbike
Just bought a used avo panel drop in and realized it says that it should be replaced every 20-30k miles. wow. i thought this was like a k&n which lasts the lifetime of your car. just trying to get an idea of how long people are keeping theirs for. if i knew this, i would have just bought a k&n. i know people will say the avo is better because it's oil-less, but i purchased this thinking it was gonna be my last air filter i would ever need. and that's also why i bought a used one. oh well. let me know your thoughts.. and how many miles you have on yours. LJ08GT
just installed mine this past weekend and thought i was getting a "lifetime" filter as well. I like that its dry filter and AVO instructions recommend to replace after 2 cleanings. Hope somebody chimes in here and tells us differently. Fletch
I have had mine since 2007 and about 35000 miles. I have washed it twice and I noticed that the screen is getting a "little" rusty in some spots. I'm overdue on cleaning and looking to get a new one.
