So heres a poll for the conquest buyers - what did you drive B4 this, or what did you replace with your LGT.

If you replaced an old subaru (like I did) with your LGT, pls do not vote!

I'm curious to see if the conquest buyers are coming from, say A4's and 3 series or camry's and elantras.

Comments! You might mention your manual or auto pref - please do if your old car was a different transmission than your new one - but pls no transmission war - just the data!

I had a Volvo 850 Turbo wagon bought used. Automatic. IPD chip to bring hp from 220 to 250 at crank. Best automatic ever with a sport mode that held gears to redline and downshifted quite quickly. Stiff springs that felt worse when I added 17x8 OZ Superleggeras on Yokohama AVS ES100. Weighed about same as LGT wagon. Thought about Volvo V70R 6 speed (used) but weighed too much (over 4000 lb) and reliabilty issues.

OK OK, you'll like the HogMobile....

a 1991 Mazda MPV Minivan!!

yes, that's right, a kid with a minivan! It was all hogged out though...

JL subs with Zapco amps with MP3 headunit, middle seat removed for room to haul tons of junk, 4WD (yes, in a minivan - this is why I got the LGT - needed AWD) and the best part....

a rocking 145HP V6 to tow my 5300lbs van. Engine had so many miles, I have no doubt it was down to 115 max.

It's 0-60 time? Sometimes.

I know, I know, all you Audi owners are jealous...

I'm pleasantly surprised... It was most certainly worth the couple bucks and 10 mins of my time.

Had a '95 Geo Prizm 5sp w/ 140,000 miles

and a '01 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD w/ 80,000 miles (wifey says was a P.O.S.)

Got rid of the Prizm on a private sell right before trading the van for the Sube.

Looking to getting another Sube... Maybe a turbo Forester for wifey. :)

But she likes the CRV. We'll see who wins.:icon_twis

Nice GTIan, i had a jazz blue GTI 20th anniversary, neuspeed q-chip, neuspeed catback, and JL stealthbox under spare tire, god i miss that car, too much attention, tickets, ricers revving at me, LGT faster, sleeper, and more subtle, thats what i needed
