PLTek
Landshart, speak for yourself. (: I want to come out with one that I will have on my car and would recommend to anyone. Your long replacement downpipes such as COBB and Perrin replace 2 portions of you stock exhaust, the downpipe and midpipe, thus eliminating 2 stock cats. Your shorty downpipe replaces the stock downpipe portion of the exhaust and eliminates 1 cat. Here you retain your midpipe and one of the cats. So theoretically you could say that you have created a long downpipe with 1 stock cat at about HALF or less than half of the price. PLTek
hi, It is made by a well respected shop to our spec. The 02 bong is used to screw in the widband 02 sensor so that you can read and/or Air/Fuel ratio (used during tuning) Best PS

PLTek
Hi Everyone. In terms of cels, you shouldnt get one since you will retain your second cat, I had a PDE Catless downpipe on my WRX with same type of 02 set-up as the Lachute and I never got a cel. I should have a prototype withing 1-1.5 weeks so the following qustions will be answered: 1. CEL 2. pics will be posted As for whether it will work with Auto tranny, If I cant get it fitted on one prior to start, i will send one to WRX_LGT to test fit. Talk to you soon and thank you for the interest, I will make sure that this is the best product. Warranty answer coming up as well. Guest *Jedimaster*
Wait- so this is 250 shipped for a downpipe with a hfc? Sounds too good to be true. Convince me- I'm buying a COBB if you can't.

Guest *Jedimaster*
I've had a rather harrowing 2 weeks, so pardon my lack of understanding. The COBB is a shorty also, right? Doesn't that mean it replaces the section of pipe from the back of the turbo to the 3rd cat pipe? The vendor mentioned that keeping the cat would prevent the CEL- but the 02 sensor is before the 3rd cat, so eliminating the 2nd cat will throw a CEL. jim1969
I thought the Cobb is a full length pipe which replaces both cats with either catless or a hfc. "This system replaces both the stock downpipe section and final catalytic converter section. They will mate up perfectly to the stock or any aftermarket cat-back system designed to attach to the factory donut style flex gasket." <-This is from Cobb's site

Most shortys fall from about $180-300. Most full length are $500+. Look over at nasioc.com under vendors to get an idea of pricing and who makes what. That's were I learned. That sites been around for awhile so there are lots of vendors and posts/reviews.
Rommel
If it has an O2 bong does it mean you can put an O2 sensor to eliminate CEL?
