lanceth101 Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 i have a 2009 subaru legacy 2.5i special editon.. i jus recently bought this air intake http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...d=150&pid=1950 .. is this intake a bad idea?? i see mixed reviews for CIAS on naturally aspirated subarus... it is not installed yet.. any opinions?? .. If you had a turbo model and planned on going with a larger turbo, you might be able to free up some horsepower. All an intake will do on an N/A model is give you a different intake note. Burba88 Posted February 25, 2013 Share Posted February 25, 2013 Yeah everyone is right , not to sure on a N/A motor but if you have a turbo on it and get a intake without a tune it's going to bog you down in low rpms, but yes basically without a tune it won't do anything performance wise for you other then sounding good.
