nemo
Simple question. Did all of you GT owners get an Auto, 5MT, or 6MT (Spec.B)? If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.
pillboy
I prefer a different means of exercising my right arm muscles than shifting in city traffic. I drove manuals for 25 years...just doesn't do it for me any more. It is still ugly.
Murphdaddy
I had the choice either auto or manual. I picked manual
red98lude
Auto because I was looking for a nice family cruiser. I still have a car with a manual so it doesn't really bother me to have an auto as a daily driver.
Beanboy
Manual. And I wish more folks on the fence would buy them as well, since they will be gone in a decade, at least in the Legacy GT class of car. -B http://www.standardshift.com
red98lude
Manual. Dealers don't help much when they rarely stock the car with a manual trasmission.

Windy Road
This is my first manual trans car. I've never driven a manual before this car, I feel like I made the right choice 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
Ssej
5MT. Before this car I had 3 autos and 1 manual. I learned on a manual, and I've always wanted one, just rarely had the chance. I held out buying my LGT until there was a manual at the dealership (they ended up finding one from out of state and bringing it here for me). SergePupko
Personally, I'm bored of automatic transmissions. And I always like it when I'm in traffic so then I can practice setting off without jerking or stalling. (it happens) I like also like the manuals because I feel like I'm doing the driving. To some that's not important, but to me, it is. Plus, manuals are cheaper, and more economical. I'd love a 6 speed manual, but I can't complain about my 5 speed.. I mean the sixth gear is nice for when you're on the highway, but in the city, it doesn't work. You have to shift up/down to often.
Rick
Manual FTW! Unless your daily commute is filled with bumper to bumper traffic.
Ssej
^_^ My day to day traffic is full of stop and go, red lights, stop signs, slow people, and a lot of shifting. Needless to say my calves have gotten noticeably bigger in the 1 1/2 years I've had this car.

Guest heightsgtltd
I sees what you are doing Nemo However, I wonder whether the number of 5mt owners is skewed on here due to the nature of the site
nemo
I sees what you are doing Nemo However, I wonder whether the number of 5mt owners is skewed on here due to the nature of the site It's absolutely skewed. No biggie, though. Considering how many members are on here and how many people actually voted, I'll bet the numbers start to even out. If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.
