Momo F16 and F16 Evo Shift Knob Pictures

I tried out a couple Momo shift knobs in my Legacy GT today and took some pictures. I thought some people might be interested in them:

Momo F16 EVO Titanium with Black Leather:

Stock knob for comparison:

I think they both look pretty good but they don't really work for me. The F16 EVO was the one I was intending on using, but I found that I prefer the feel of the stock shift knob so I've gone back to it.

How well does the grey/silver match the interrior on the F16? I was looking at that one the other night.

The silver itself matches pretty well color-wise, but it has a very glossy finish (and the console trim doesn't). The titanium finish on the F16 EVO matches much better.

that's an odd looking shape..plus it looks kinda "long"....MAYBE with short shifter.

The EVO in particular is quite a bit taller than the stock shift knob. It definitely needs a shorter shifter.

Thanks for posting! IMHO, those knobs don't seem to fit the scale of the car -- too big. Nice to know that the "ergonomic" MOMO knobs don't feel as good as the stock knob. The stock knob is starting to grow on me (after whopping one week of driving ).

I have the F16 EVO in my LGT along w/ Kartboy SS. I enjoy how it looks and feels. It would be nice to be able to attach it to the leather boot, I still have to figure something out about that.

However I do enjoy the OEM knob, but I got this as a gift so I am not gonna complain :)

Here are a couple pics:

There's an adapter available, manufactured by someone on NASIOC. Supposedly he doesn't make them anymore, but there are some still floating around (I got one off of Ebay). It's basically a white plastic piece that fits inside the Momo knob. You tighten the Momo's set screws onto the adapter, and the adapter has threads on the inside of it so then you just screw the knob onto the shifter. The adapter has a lip just like the stock knob for holding the shift boot up.
