The insert is just glued on there, comes right off with a heatgun. I think I am actually going to buy brand new ones, they are only $64 per door so it I think its probably worth it. What color is this, if you don't mind me asking (I know you mentioned before that you wanted to keep it a secret)? Mine is going to need a paint job as well, and I was tossing around the idea of going with Satin White Pearl or some other white pearl color. Maybe you beat me to it!
