m4dm4x
Hi Everyone, Just had some damage to my Momo steering wheel where some of the black paint had come off on the right side due to harsh leather conditioner, just had it redyed. Result is great and they have put a surface protectant to ensure it last very long. I suggest doing this instead of replacing as the result is as good as new. Here is a pic. ur a bus
+1 I restored the leather steering wheels in both my old BMW and my old Ranger myself. 1. Clean the hell out of it with Simple Green, then clean it again. 2. If the finish is worn down to the leather itself, sand lightly with 220. 3. Respray with Leather/Vinyl paint from any auto supply. 4. Reinstall wheel. -- Steve
