reborngarcia1985
So last week we had a small track event called FL2K14. I wanted to test out my driving skills. only mods to the car are a spt intake and no mufflers. I have only driven the car at a track a total of 4 times. And this was my 4 pass. I had only 1 goal and that was to get the 60ft to under 2.0. My pass is the slow time
LatentWagen
Time for the driver mod, for sure. A stock spec B can run more than a second faster in the 1/4. You're missing a few MPH, too. Get that sixty foot down, however, and you'll be on your way... I made it to the track twice in my WRX. The stock run has a similar MPH to yours, but look at the difference in ET because of the 60'! Every tenth there gets you two tenths at the line. Practice, practice, practice, and don't be afraid to break things LW's spec. reborngarcia1985
ya i know i need more seat time. i am going back to the 1/8 mile in about 2 week. i hope the weather stays cool and i just want to get the 60 ft down under 2.0. if i can do that I should be close to the time you had from the looks of it. LatentWagen
Good luck! Maybe practice a few launches in the rain. You will quickly see what works and doesn't, and it'll be a bit easier on your drivetrain. Let off the gas if you're getting a lot of wheel hop, that was one thing I did notice in the rain.
