Notori0us Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Engine light came on so I took the BL5 into Winger Subaru, and theyve told me the bank one sensor one on the exhaust is faulty and that it needs to be replaced.... Im tight as f*** on money right now and don't want to pay $612 to have this done there...any1 know how I can get around it or get the part cheaper???!!?!?!!!? I got an o2 sensor socket for $10 and paid $92 shipped for an OEM sensor online. Once you have the car jacked up, it takes 5 minutes to replace. Hint, I put a hose clamp around the socket to help keep it from spreading when your using it. Just replace mine a few weeks back. Buy the socket from Harbor Fright store. Look them up in a web search. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
