govolsguy31
Quick question guys. What effect does loading a map from a Cobb AP or a protune (such as from Infamous1) have on the SI Drive in our LGT's? Can you still switch from Intelligent/ sport/ sport#, or does the tune over-ride it? Was just wondering how that worked. I did a search (several, actually) and couldn't find anything. Thanks. Darkness of Death
the SI drive really has nothing to do with the tune. it controls throttle response unless the map has changed the parameters on the SI drive settings
govolsguy31
Ok, cool. I've been talkin to AJW Performance about getting ERZ UP and DP and want to go stage 2 Infamous1 tune and didn't know if SI drive had anything to do with anything. Any last advice before diving into this? LOL...
Wang Lung
Yeah, don't buy an UP. You don't need it.
govolsguy31
Ok, i'd heard that before. the 07+ is catless. Is there really no difference?
Darkness of Death
there could be a flow difference (which i believe there is a thread about started by grimmspeed) but the important thing is that it's catless
Bovesnh1
I have been running a similar setup on my 08 for about a month. I picked up the ERZ catted DP, and reflashed to a Cobb OTS stage II 93 octane map. The SI Drive settings still work perfectly and the added drivability and fun that the stage II tune makes the Sport and Sport Sharp settings even more entertaining. m sprank
Forget the uppipe. Save the time and money. If you want something special from the Si drive Infamous can do some magic. Otherwise it works the same as now after the tune.
Darkness of Death
the drive by wire can be tuned. also the SIdrive can be tuned to have a different boost target for each mode if you want it to
keithk831
Forget the uppipe. Save the time and money. x2. IF there is a difference between the factory catless uppipe and an aftermarket one, it's probably 1hp. Put that money toward something else.
