reallyrottens Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 hey guys figure i start a build thread it will be a pretty slow one since we got alot of projects and not enough time and $$ projects ( home, 61 caddy, 52 ford, huge garden, parrot resuce.) also this is like my 9th subaru. but only my second turbo subie.. i had a FXT previously i had a few mods on and loved but sold when buying house which i never should have done. i also used to drag a Turbo D16 civic. back in 04-08 jsut picked up this 06 LGT in columbus OH, someone had it as a DD.. has 118 miles on and these lame Drag wheels... ( that i hate ) but they will become winter wheels for now. Plans will change but so far -have Rocblok flaps, -new momo knob, -yellow 100W fogs Planned mods Engine Bigger TMIC TBE Opensource or cobb tune. wheels/ suspension Some Rota wheels with hopefully 245 or larger tires upgrade suspension... reallyrottens Posted January 9, 2014 Author Share Posted January 9, 2014 Nice Car....but man those wheels Yes the wheels are butt ugly... but due to budget constraints i have to deal with them... i really wish the orginal owner would of kept the stock wheels... but ill make them work as winter wheels plasti dip them black in spring and ill be trying to buy some better wheels come spring time with tax return $ so ill atleast have a nice summer set. We got 6 rescue birds right now, we actually just took in a Big yellow headed Amazon. Other birds are: red lory, gotham cockatoo, citron cockatoo, 2 jenday conure, and a timneh african grey. I already replaced the stk shift knob.. It was to ugly.. This car actually is in really good condition.. I checked compression when I got it, all good there Was a 1 owner car, bought serviced and sold from the same dealer... I got all service records ect with the car it was very we'll maintained. So far I'm happy with it besides these damn wheels on it! In process of saving up for Uppipe/Downpipe/ exhaust Tune ( open source) Perrin TMIC Coilovers Would love me some brembos Lastly to try to find a good looking boost gauge and stock looking pod for it. And maybe eventually if I go E85 pump and injectors. Plan to try to keep this mild since it's more of a DD than anything else .
