dubunderpar
Had the OB for about 3 months now and have done a few small things to make it my own. I have done most of what I want for now minus lights on the Rally-Innovations light bar and the tint which gets done on the 3rd. I am looking for rims, but haven't found any that fit the look I am going for. It's not an XT so I am not looking to boost power, drop it and throw on 18s with no side wall. Let me know if you have any wheel ideas. http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll122/dubunderpar/IMG_1714.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll122/dubunderpar/IMG_1716.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll122/dubunderpar/IMG_1715.jpg Also I'm still on the fence as to go with 35% or 20% on the tint. leftride
really like those painted wheels I'd go for the 20% *vb gallery*
dubunderpar
Talked to the shop doing the tint and they said it's not a good idea to go below 35 on the fronts in our area. Especially since NY law is 70. I will be doing 20 in the back 5 though.

dubunderpar
Wow looks just like mine, especially since I just got the windows tinted. I also took the bike rack off, because I wanted to enjoy a whitle free week with the sunroof open. I will get some pics after a good wash.
natoli4
I'd recommend 19's if u want no sidewall. Check out my posts with my summer set up. Blk OZ ultraleggaras and pzero Nero as long as your roads are nice enough.

I copied you and got the lamin-x yellow foglight film. What % tint did you end up getting for the front windows?
natoli4
I had the Yellow covers but went for HID fogs and really like the Bright White. I ran a 15% on my fronts to avoid tickets in Los Angeles.

RyanPDX
bigdadi, thanks for that link. Are the 08-09 Outback fogs the same size as the 05-07? I think they are but am unsure....
D_J
Yes I had the same question coz I have a 2009. They just haven't updated their website but it is the exact same size for 08 - 09. I ordered them direct from lamin-x. Install was super easy.

dubunderpar
Had the windows tinted 20 in the rear and 30 up front. I then tinted the reverse lights and the third brake light with some more Lamin-X. Here's a few shots from our camp. http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll122/dubunderpar/DSCN0501.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll122/dubunderpar/DSCN0497.jpg
spartan
Looks great now just do something with the tail lights and the chrome strip!
leftcoast74
Looks good dub, I'm a fan of all Subie's. I'd love to have a pair, 1 to go into the snow, and 1 to be on the tarmac.
leftcoast74
Dub, r those rims powder coated or just flat blk?
dubunderpar
I've thought about wrapping the chrome on the grill and the back strip in flat black vinyl, but we'll see. Also the wheels have been sprayed flat black. Powder coating wasn't worth it to me seeing as though I have owned other cars with sprayed wheels that last just as long as PC'd ones. Plus these wheels come off during winter for my snows. Thanks for the comments.
OutbackXT05
Those tail lights look outta place to me. Probably just me but I'd think a light tint on them would look cool, but then it just looks murdered out. Regardless, sharp looking outback i like a lot. I need to paint my wheels
