dcthemvp
Need help installing tension bar in trunk. Seems simple but I can't figure out how they go in. Anyone got pictures how they go in?

Brighton96
I'm just going off memory here, the top of the lift strut is bolted to the trunk lid with 2 10mm bolts and for the end that is attached to the trunk, all you have to do it yank it off of the ball it swivels on. It's a very quick and easy replacement. I have a wagon but I also have a parts car sedan I can take pictures of just to show you if you haven't done the job already. Could you please post pics? I got them in, but judging by the grinding noise when I close the trunk, I believe they're in wrong.
