dark_thorns
I'm in the middle of rebuild an EJ25D and was wondering that for the rear main seal if you'd wanna have it installed as far up the crank as it can go or flush against the back of the engine? monkeyposeur
You want it flush with the little bevel. If you need pics I can post them later. Edit: I posted a pic of it here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/did-you-do-your-2nd-generation-subaru-todayi-v1-closed-130047p616.html
dark_thorns
Ok so that is pushed up as far on the crank as it can go. Thanks!
monkeyposeur
Make sure you aren't looking at swagon's post where he pushed the rms way too deep. He pushed it as far as it would go which is wrong.
