ej25tuning
Hey guys- Just want to see if this is a good deal, and if you have any input on this. As long as the car checks out at the Subaru dealer next week, I think I'm going to buy it. 07 Legacy GT Limited, 52k miles, 5 speed manual, black interior. 1 owner, clean car fax, never mechanically modified. Comes with a set of 18" black "Drag 35" rims with Continental tires. Price would be $17,200. Fair deal? Any heads up as for problems with the 07? I know the 05+06 had some turbo issue with the banjo bolt, but it was fixed for 07? Any input is great! careercadaver
I believe the banjo bolt is a general 2.5L issue. My brother-in-law had the same issue on his 2010 WRX. Hopefully someone will chime in if I'm off base here... Seems like a lot for an 07...any reason you're not looking newer for the price? I've seen 08's and SpecB's with a few more miles for the same...
mdzowner
agree with cadaver you should be somewhere in the mid 15k range. see if they will negotiate. i have an 07 and have had almost zero problems. 123k+ original clutch, turbo etc. still runs strong
ej25tuning
The price was my biggest concern. It seems steep, but I can see how he's asking that price. It's in great condition with low mileage. He said his bottom number really was 17,200 and I'd hate to let this beauty get away. The GT's with the 5 speed are hard to come by especially with this mileage.

ej25tuning
Really trying to go with the 07-09, fewer problems and I kinda like the interior design better. And this one I'm looking at is the closest to me, being 130 miles away .___.

McDowell Performance Tunin
Is it private party? He might be trying to get what he owes on it. The VF46 in the 07-09 LGT's don't seem to have as many issues as the VF40, but removing the banjo bolt filters is always a good idea. www.facebook.com/mcdowelltuning [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Click Here for Stage1, Stage2 and Stage3 Tuning and eTuning Info
