gibjer
Done the search, narrowed down my choices, going to toss snows on the stock wheels (that will probably handle better then the re92s ... but I digress) Come spring, I am going wheel shopping, help me decide between the following. 1) 18" OZ Superturismo GTs (don't know the weight) http://shop.ozracing.com/admin/templates/ozracing/images/1003ab.jpg 2) 18" OZ Superleggras (18.5 lbs ... mmmm) http://shop.ozracing.com/admin/templates/ozracing/images/1001ab.jpg 3) 17x8" Rota Boosts (probably about the same weight as the superleggras) http://www.subydude.com/images/prod/products/Wheels/150/200/rt1780Boost510048SG_01.jpg 4) 17x8" Rota Slipstream http://www.autosportz.com/wheels/rota/slipstream.jpg 5) 17" US STi Wheel http://www.autonerve.com/Reviews/2004STi/STi-6.jpg Or, if you can suggest another, I am all ears, I have been through the silver thread, and there isn't much in there for wheel selection, man this color is a pita to find a good looking wheel for. Figure I am not opposed to find used wheels, and my budget for wheels + tires probably between 1200-1600 (doesn't mean I AM going to spend that much though) Whatever wheel I get I will probably end up tossing on the new azenis or the Pzero's on. DeepFreeze2
Did you see the G-Racing Sekis in Hyperblack? I have them on my silver sedan in 18". The pricing falls between the Volks and the Rotas of similar style and have "lippy goodness", if you like that sort of thing. YA RLY!!! Home of +2500 useless posts!!!! gibjer
Looking at them the spoke design looks like they extend beyond the sidewall, not something I am a huge fan of. I would get the P1s but another member who lives fairly close to be already has them. The PFF7s are also a possability for me if I can find a decent deal on them. PGT
Superleggeras are lighter than Rota Boosts, IIRC. The Superturismo isn't widely available in a Scooby friendly size last I checked.
gibjer
It's in the US catalog for 05 (finally) so I am hoping they arn't as bad as previous years. I also know someone locally who is supposedly hooking me up with wholesale pricing on the OZs ... but I am not holding my breath. I used to have a set of superleggras on my old WRX Wagon (umong many others) that I absolutly loved. I am almost kicking myself for getting rid of them now. gibjer
Ya, I am not a fan of the black wheels, or polished lips, right now it's down to the superleggras or the pffs-7s Although, I am going to call the dealer tomorrow where I traded in my WRX and offer to trade my 17" leg alloys for my old 17" alloys that I left on the car .... 93formula
Rota boost, I put six spokes on my car and love them, just something a little different for a change i usually do a mesh or a five spoke, but mine are silver with a polished lip on a silver car. BigT
Try to get something with more than 5 spokes. The more spokes you have the better it looks on our cars. i would go with at least six. More of a racing bling look to it. -T

Precise
im feeling #1...love the massive spokes. reminds me of spec-b, although the superturismos might have too many spokes would those look good on a white car. Not sure what color to get for a swp legacy
gibjer
Ya http://www.brendan-stewart.com/switzerland/cartrip15.jpg This was the pic that got me thinking about the Supertourismos, it's on silver too, I just don't know of the legacy would be able to pull it off. I guess it's time for me to break out photoshop. '20 Legacy XT Touring 13 Subarus and counting: http://jmaigroup.com/subarus/
