AJNelson01
Hello I have an 05 Legacy GT and the power steering will catch when I go to turn and press the gas at the same time. The car has 127K miles and runs great besides the steering. After the car has been warmed up for while it's better but still has a catch. Any ideas of what is wrong?? ras06LGT
Is it a physical catch (like the wheel won't turn) or just a temporary loss of assist? If it's the latter, try bleeding the system. You might have air getting in. Search 'power steering o-ring fix'.

When i try to turn there will be a point where the wheel won't turn past a certain point and the wheels will stop at that point also. It sometimes gets me into some accidents. Most of the time this will occur when I accelerate while turning.
