volodyalysak Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 High idle, and there is vibrations when in gear with brake pedal pressed or at wery low speed and rpm 1100-1200. New shortblock, new sparkplugs, all new vacuum lines new LCA new ball joints, new CV Axles. Has anyone experienced that ? How old is the battery ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. volodyalysak Posted December 2, 2012 Author Share Posted December 2, 2012 Well, i didn't put engine back myself, so can't really tell, looks ok from far. Battery is 2 years old. i had low idle problem before, cleaned throttle plate and now my idle is smooth at 1000-1100 rpm, but those stupid vibrations drive me nuts, feels like i'm driving 20 year old honda..... I have Tactrix cable, i'm going to datalog tonight a bit, and then will see, maybe injectors clogged up or something else. I would just recommend going to the autopart or hardware store and getting a barbed fitting as well as using zip ties because some people have major issues keeping these lines on.
