Very nicely done. If my 2.0L goes in my Solstice GXP. 3.8L Turbo, would be on my short list.

I have such a hard time taking the Solstice seriously.

The Solstice is too round for my taste too, I much rather get a Saturn Sky, but I don't understand why they are so much more spendy.

LE: I looked again, seems like the price gap is not as high as I thought. I dunno, last time I looked at them used, the Sky seemed to be much more expensive.

Personally I think the Solstice was the best looking car GM has had in a long time. It was actually on my list of maybes until Pontiac was pulled. (Although the reliability reports were not to impressive) How they manage to get a trunk smaller than the one in my Miata still boggles my mind...

Sorry to prolong the OT.

All I need now is a hill holder and a center passing light...

^^ I like the look of the Solstice/Sky too, especially the Solstice coup.

But, I ended up getting a MSM Miata as it was about half the price.

Any updates? Cmon Frank!

its a daily driver :p i jsut came back from 3 weeks in europe. 3 days in portugal 3 days in spain went snow boarding then the remander in germany.

reading through the 5 eat stuff i have purchased the vag com cable so i can play a bit with the tcu ( i have not switched over to mega shift yet)

raced a supercharged regal yesturday ( my neighbour ) he is running 12 lbs boost and i'm runing 5 lbs and it was about even.

so the plan is to work out some more kinks .. some vibrations and starting issues ( stock computer kiling the fuel pump because cam sensor not there )

Now that's thinking out of the boxer!

if it was a regal GS it runs around 3600lb factory. stock it'll break 14's. glad to see your swap is running good!

my moms and my neighbours regal gs run 14.4 amd 14.07 respectivly with only exaust mods.

but yes time slips will be shown as soon as possible. for right now i'm just tweaking and nudging so that it drives like a stock car.. i'm doing about 500 miles a week on the car. its amazing having that torque right at idle

No, no, that's backward... :) Go trolling at Nasioc by starting a thread about this. They will go apeshit, and it will be hilarious. It'll be the greatest trolling since the guy with the 2.2T posted a video of blowing up his motor. With NOS. On purpose.

Nothing on the buick motor... Cause I think this swap is badass(BTW I WANT TO SEE VIDEOS FRANKSTER!!!)

But you could always just do a Mallet swap!

wonder if he really came from nasioc.... jk. I say go for it man. Its your car, and Im sure there are some buick forums that will be able to help you out on this adventure. might want to check with sl-i.net and legacycentral.org , search for "H6 swap" on those. some kids there took their 2.2's-2.5's for the H63.3 (svx) and the newer/older H63.0 (outbacks). thought about doing something like this with an older (91) legacy wagon. I wanted to put an inline 4 cummins'. after looking at the info on parts etc I came to realize something about subarus... they are awd with a boxer. the suspension, engine mounts, physical structure/stability of the car is designed for the origional engine. primarily with the suspension. it is not out of the realm of posability, they did make an LS1 powered Legacy GT. RWD of course. I googles it.
