Dvour Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 I test drove a 05 5eat LGT limited and it drove good, the turbo spools nice. When I was driving it to my house it started smoking (oil/ coolant smell). Its got some mods and 67k. miles. The dealer said his master mechanic will fix it and will replace the HG or turbo if needed. Is it worth it to keep this car? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not to talk about a bunch of things in one thread but is there a thread or an answer on how to raise my suspension myself? Outback struts and springs for a slightly elevated ride height. If you want aftermarket performance, that will take some noodling. I'm on a bastardized hybrid suspension and I'm at about stock ride height although a little more evenly stanced front to back. I thought I read everything, but did you mention what suspension that you have? Anyway, if you have coilovers you can probably adjust the height. If you are on strut + shock combo can't adjust that.
