You can look at your car as a Legacy with a unique high power/terrible suspension combination

Throw the deadly suspension away and make it a real car. So much more fun.

I don't mean anything bad, just pointing you missing a lot compared to LGT

You could lower it and make the geometry, um, interesting....
06LOB2.5i MT, JDMRSB, GYTTs, HPS, LGT Mufflers & Leather Wheel, SubiMomo Knob, Inalfa Moonroof, Clutch Switch Bypass, DeDRLd, DeChimed, & Straight Headrest.

once upon a time there was a member named chuckatoo (sp). He was way ahead of the game about a year ago.

that project was scrapped and the car parted out.

'scoobydude' has his car at Stg II with headers coming and chucktoo's ZEAL's, Cusco swaybars, P1's with 245 summer tires, and a few other things. I don't know whether by 'most modded' you mean most money spent, most parts bought, fastest or best handling but I'd say you and Steve are about on par (with Drewster somewhere in the mix too).

Is our suspension really that bad?? What significant minor changes could we make to the suspension without lowering it?

it is that bad for driving more than 7/10's. That being said...most OBXT owners didn't buy for the handling on-road, but for the ground clearance. To be honest....I'd be better off with an OBXT for what I'd like to use it for.

heheh....you're wrong man. I've seen more of that type east in MD than west in WV ;) Proof (Odenton, MD back in 2003):

I sold my CRX and my Jeep for the LGT. The OBXT and new Mini would be worthy replacements (since most offroading was fireroads and car-camping). A lowered LGT wagon loses it's utility. :(

He's not comparing his to a gt. Only asking who has the most modded/fastest OBX.

ya what ever happened to chuckatoo??

his wife gave him and ultimatum and he had to sell the car. The shop that had it took him for a ride and he had to cut his losses and moved on. Sad really....a ton of $$$ invested and walked away with pennies on the dollar. If only the shop had delivered on it's promises...there'd be a wicked OBXT out there. ;)

whoa! stop the presses. It was hardly about that. the man had another toy being built.... a Factory Five Racing Cobra. The OBXT was languishing in the shop and the man was lied to apparently by that shop about progress and an end date. His wife's patience had run out....that's all.

With all those mods how about at least a 1/4 mile time....? It would be harder for you to give us meaningful handling information.

last time i did a 1/4 I was stg 1.... 14.012 @ 97mph

now I should hit a low 13 if not breaking the 12 mark....but my clutch would never hold anyways... at least not the launch. My clutch slipped in gear for the first time today. Looking at clutch options at the moment.

As far as handling goes...that JDM sway and 245/45-18's really make a huge difference. I won an AutoX in the SM class about a month ago.
