mooshski
Hello everyone. I searched around but could not find an answer. I am lowered on H-tech springs, and last year i had 18x8 alt rush's. Now my question is, will i be able to fit 18x8.5 wheels (specifically rota g-forces)? I am wondering if i would need coilovers for that set up. The tires are probably going to be 225/40/18's. Looking for some input, thank you!
Draco-REX
What's the offset? That's the most important thing.
dsickles
whats the offset?
mooshski
The alt rush's that i had last year were 48. And the g-forces that i'm looking into are also 48.
Draco-REX
I think you're as close on the inside as you can get, but I believe they would fit. Xenonk's FAQ seems to agree.
mk6933
With +48 offset, you need to roll your fenders, thats it.
mooshski
Cool, how about if I go with 18x9? As long as i roll them I wont be needing coilovers? Once again with the 48 offset.
mk6933
18x9 +48 is too wide. You need your fenders pull and run negative camber. The most you would go with just rolling fenders is 18x8.5 +48-
mooshski
Ok, thank you very much for the imput! Right now I think I will go with the easy way out and go with 18x8.5. Also, I might end up getting 215's instead of 225's as far as tires. Thank you!!
mooshski
According to that FAQ, i shouldn't have any problems fitting 18x8.5 along with 225/40/18 along with +48 offset. Sounds about right, yeah?
mk6933
You should be able to run 245/35-18 w/o rubbing. People run 245-35-18 on 18x8 +48.

W1CKED
I wish I could remember who it is...they've got a 05-07 wagon with 18x8.5 GRIDs on H-Techs, no fender rolling...no rubbing...and I'm pretty sure he's running 235s. **edit** Found him...he's running 225s on +44. Continuing to whore out my rims. Rota Grid 18x8.5 in hyper black.
