underground000
Is yours still under warranty or can you get extended warranty if your really that worried, just drive it and stay stock to stay safeish or get infamous1 tuned No race stories are allowed on this forum I have around 43k on my 08 without any problems, built in April 08 Early 08 had engine problems like the STI, and I consider stock turbo as wear item 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:)

Max Capacity
My 05 has 142,000 miles on the engine and oem turbo. Change the oil and check it topped off. Use good tranny fluids and rear diff fluid. Cobb AP and stage 1 is perfect. Oh yea, they fly under the radar. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). LosAngelesLGT
Nothing good. All bad things. Will blow up soon. I'd sell ASAFP and buy a Hyudai with a 10yr/100mi. You are in DEEP ... and I never raced anything when I was STOCK
MatsuDano
No, in fact you should sell it now. I don't know why I even have mine still, it's caused me nothing but problems.
RuskiTrombone
A lot of people on this forum keep their car garaged. They change fluids very often even if not driven. They plastic wrap the hoodscoop to make sure soap does not get on the intercooler and plug the tailpipe with a banana or potato for similar reasons. LosAngelesLGT
Do you think anyone will buy it DanO? Im afraid guys like OP will have read all about how these cars are sculpture that you look at and will in fact catastrophically grenade at the slightest problem. It may already be too late. To think all along I had kept this stupid car in a vacuum chamber hermetically sealed becasue I was concerned about potao and bananna's organic degradation (what if it rotted while I was out of town?) and the car is basically WORTHLESS. What a stupid investment that was.

Lardo420
yeah, a civic or a corolla would have been a much better choice. actually you would be better off fashioning a canoe out of a downed tree and commuting via waterway
__raj
We love our 05 LGT 5mt wagon with 115k. Our first "common" problem is a throw out bearing. It looks like a $1000 fix that includes new clutch except for flywheel. I did have a stuck caliper that had to get changed also, not sure if common.
