Well in any event it isnt your fault so if it cost 10K ( which if it did they would total it ) youre covered with your Insurance. You do have insurance...Right ? If the inside bead is cracked there could be some integrity issues that you could bring to light to make the insurance company think a little more. The mod and I spoke via PM, and his logic made sense. It woudl have been a pain to clean up all of the OT posts in there. At any rate, the guy (KRB) was full of crap. I don't care what he says, he was wrong. Even if I don't know what I was talking about, I ran it past my father, who confirmed that I was correct. And let me tell you- if someone was going to fight me on an issue where I was wrong, my father would be first in line. Looks like he got you pretty solid in the rear LOL how much to get is fixed ? Ended up around $3500 in parts and their associated removel/install, plus the paint costs and paint labor (still TBD). I hope to get it back Thursday.
