r31oh Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Hey guys, im almost done with my first swap but im stuck now. I have an ej25d coming out of an auto 96 legacy going into a manual 97 legacy(had an ej25d as well). Im almost 100% sure the clutch is aligned properly, but the engine and tranny just wont come together. I cant get the mounts to line up with the crossmember either. Do i need to drop the tranny as well? Any info or tips will be appreciated, thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
johnegg Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 did you jack up the trans so you could slide the engine in? are the ''guide pins'' in the trans and bell housings bumping into each other? some times the guide pins stay in the trans, some times they stay in the engine.
